Looking for Truth

Looking for truth
in a wayward world,
searching for answers
and glory unfurled
Seeing that I’m
far less than I seemed
while walking in truth
as if in a dream
“A narrow, narrow path,”
and yes, it really is,
yet the narrow winds through still delights
although they’re often hid
Truth, the sum of all good things,
truth, the captain’s sail,
truth, the prize of wiser kings,
truth, the teller’s tale
Looking for truth
I’ll always be,
for if I forget,
where would be me?
