LOVE

What is love?
I ask myself again and again.
Do I really love;
am I a loving man?
Or, is it all for me;
am I “I am?”
I am the way
I am the truth
I am the life
God is love.
But I am not God.
What am I?
I am a man
made in the image of
God, who is the way
the truth, the love
And as I will to do his will,
he will make his home in me
and I in him, and I will
know the truth, and that truth
will set me free, free to be
the perfect pattern, the image,
the likeness of that holy one
who is the way, the truth,
the life, the love.
