The will of the wind
moves unseen
through mountains high
and valleys low
Stronger than my will,
sometimes it pushes
to places I… fear
and do not want to go
Sometimes it leads
to quiet waters,
to stillness
breathing its pure life
And sometimes tears
with mad destruction,
leaving death
and chaos, strife
The will of the wind
is stronger than my will.

Penuel, the face of God,
the goal of every man,
a shining sight that glows so bright
it obscures his very plan
Like the sun no one can see,
its brightness blinds our eyes,
the truth hides in itself
from guile and mean disguise
For men have little understood
God’s grand and glorious plan
of procreating Elohim,
of fathering the man.

God constantly speaks to us, but do we hear him? He speaks through our wives, our children, our parents. He speaks through our friends and our bosses. He speaks in the still, small voice of the wind blowing through the trees or the leaf falling into the still pond. All creation proclaims the glory of God… but do we listen?
